Riber Pets was created by us! (Zoe & Georgie👋)

We are a small, independent business located in the beautiful town of Matlock, Derbyshire and we are ridiculously passionate about pets. Between us we’ve had a lot of animal experience, both professionally and personally. Of course, this means we have both been owned, rescued and rehabilitated by countless furry, feathered and furless friends.

 

We followed our dreams and opened Riber Pet's doors for the first time in July 2021. We want to provide pets and their parents with an experience like no other. We aim to offer the very best selection of healthy food & treats, quality toys & accessories, as well as services that truly reflect the unique personality of each pet. Educating ourselves and those who serve their pets daily is incredibly important to us!

 

The idea for Riber Pets was born through years of working in the pet industry and a desire to genuinely do more. We often found ourselves under pressure to offer the wrong products ,services, or something of inferior quality that we didn't believe in, and we hated it! Rescue is at the heart of Riber Pets, having both owned and worked with rescue animals. Our pets are our family, and they bring us so much pleasure. They deserve far more than we can ever give. We hope Riber Pets helps you to unleash your pet’s wild side, understand their needs better and make informed decisions based on our honest advice.

 

At Riber Pets we only offer products & services that we believe in, and we have so much fun while we do it! We are passionate about pet's nutritional and behavioural needs and have only selected products in our shop that reflect this. We will never sell a product we wouldn't give to our pets and, trust us, we have high standards! We learn every day and always aim to improve. We work tirelessly behind the scenes to be up-to-date with the latest pet care advice, and over the years we will change and grow together as we continue to give back to our amazing pet family.

 

The big dream is to open Riber Rescue, funded in part by all of the amazing pets and their pawrents who visit us daily.
