Teeth Cleaning For Your Dog Without Anaesthetic

Gentle ultrasonic dental cleaning to help reduce plaque, freshen breath and support healthier gums.

If your dog's breath smells unpleasant, their teeth are becoming yellow, or you're worried about plaque and tartar building up, you're not alone.

Dental disease affects the majority of dogs over the age of three, yet many owners don't realise there's a gentle way to help keep their dog's mouth healthier before serious problems develop.

At Riber Pets we offer non-anaesthetic ultrasonic dog teeth cleaning using the Emmi-Pet ultrasonic toothbrush.

What is Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning?

The Emmi-Pet toothbrush works differently from an ordinary toothbrush.

Because the toothbrush doesn't vibrate or rotate, many dogs tolerate it far better than a conventional toothbrush.

Instead of scrubbing the teeth, it uses ultrasonic waves together with an enzymatic toothpaste to create millions of microscopic bubbles. These bubbles help break down bacteria around the teeth and gums, even in areas that are difficult to reach with normal brushing.

Is This Better Than A Veterinary Dental?

Not exactly—and it's important to understand the difference.

Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is designed to help maintain your dog's dental health and reduce plaque before serious dental disease develops.

A veterinary dental procedure is needed when a dog already has advanced tartar, loose teeth or dental disease that requires treatment under anaesthetic.

Think of our service as regular dental maintenance, rather than dental surgery.

Results:

Most dogs show visible improvements after their first appointment, while others with heavier tartar build-up benefit from a series of treatments.

Regular appointments, combined with good home dental care, produce the best long-term results.
